So Many Questions ... So Few Answers

I happened upon this in the foyer yesterday. I can't help but wonder, what did the dog do? What can a small stuffed dog do that would be a hanging offense? Did he receive a fair trial? I found him 3 hours after I took the kids to school. How did I miss this for 3 hours??
